Our spotlight today is on one of our cosmetology students

Graduating in March of 2022 this gem has grown so much in her skills for cosmetology. Never afraid to take any client that walks in the door she is always prepared to take on any service! Our admissions team sat down with Madelyn to talk about her experience and where she hopes to go – here is what she had to say…..
“I chose cosmetology because I always wanted to wake up every morning and love what I did. I never found anything that I really loved to do, or was good at until I started to looked in the mirror. The way I styled my own hair, how my sister would ask me to do her hair, or how my mom would ask me to do her make up and from that I started getting many compliments.
“How many people were pushing me to go in this field and I never really thought about it as much until I found myself in a place working and doing something that I didn’t love so I decided to do some thing different and try cosmetology.”
“Since I joined the school, and this community I finally have the validation that I’m exactly where I need to be. I can’t wait to see where I end up. I’m already so in love with waking up every day with a positive attitude and coming to school and I cannot wait to be out there on my own and get started.”
