What can I expect with an Elevate education?

Hi future professionals, it’s Matt, the head of admissions at Elevate Salon Institute.  We are asked tons of questions during the admissions process but there is one that sticks out more than any other – what can I expect with an education from Elevate?  And yes there are some obvious answers – kit, supplies, books, – very basic, right?

Well…..at Elevate we are definitely not basic.  So what can you expect?  Over the next few weeks we will be sharing exactly that…..what you can expect to receive, what is included in an Elevate education!

The first is, we go beyond the book!

Of course you have to teach the book and of course we teach state board rules and regulations – we prepare you to be a professional.  But just reading a book or listening to a lecture is bleh.  That’s not us.

That means creative projects and ways to learn fundamentals.  Learning the color wheel?  What better way to do it then get some vanilla wafers or cupcakes and ice them?

That means bringing in guests artists who are living their dream.  We bring in those who are living their true self to inspire and mentor.  We want you to see the power of what you can achieve when you finish strong!

That means constant, live, hands-on instruction.  YouTube is great but if you really want to learn you need that live, hands-on, real-world instruction.  We always have an instructor at your side helping make this a reality.

We want you to be the best.  In order to do that we are constantly asking ourselves how we can engage you, how can we reach you, how can we push you.
